Today, in India we are facing a major paradox. On the one hand, every year lakhs of Indian youth are graduating out of commerce, science, engineering colleges but are not getting employed. On the other hand they are lakhs of companies who are having vacancies which are not being filled. Why is this happening? This is because even after obtaining a Bachelor’s degree – the Indian youth continues to be unemployable as he does not have the required skill sets for the given job. This is called the “Employability Gap”. National Institute of Medical Coding was created to bridge this “Employability Gap”.
